All Quiet on the Western Front

Hello all, is it really February 2012 already! Not much to report at Bigwing, campaign designing is still going on - but at a very slow pace...I finally solved the mystery of how to get a COD campaign to save when you leave it, but no joy in making success/failure scripts work or sounds play in campaign mission briefings..

Work continues and we all wait for the next major COD patch...

World famous IL-2 Sturmovik series of flight simulators roars over Britain. IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is the latest instalment in the acclaimed IL-2 Sturmovik series from award-winning developer 1C: Maddox Games.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover takes place in 1940 during the pivotal aerial battle for the skies over Britain between the British, the German and the Italian air forces.

My Latest IL2 Campaign is 'Mosquito legends'

This campaign follows 105 Squadron RAF, the very first Mosquito Squadron - from early 1942 until May 1943 when the Squadron switched to night operations as a pathfinder unit. The campaign will feature some of the Mosquito's and the RAF's most famous daring daylight raids including the attack on the Gestapo HQ in Oslo, the mass daylight attack on the Philips Works in Eindoven, the long range attack on the Zeiss Optical works at Jena and the most famous of all - the amazing daylight raid on Berlin to disrupt a massed rally and speach by Hermann Goring, Commander in Chief of the Luftwaffe!
